  I currently serve as Lead Pastor at Atwater Community Church, formerly known as First Church of God.As the restart Pastor, I have lead this church out of obscurity and dysfunction into a functioning body of Christians, passionately loving God, loving people and making Holy Spirit empowered disciples of Christ.  I believe that the purpose of the church is to impact its community, changing and improving lives through the power of the gospel here in our communities of Port Charlotte and North Port.

   I am ordained and hold credentials with the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana.  I am also affiliated with Florida Church of God Ministries and Healthy Growing Churches.  I have a passion for church growth and attend many seminars concerning church growth and I  recognize the importance of counting numbers in the church as numbers represent people.

  I have preached the Gospel as far away as Kampala, Uganda and surrounding areas, and hold a degree in Theology from Faith Theological Seminary and Bible College.

  Most importantly, I have been married for 28 years to my beautiful wife Quincy...also lovingly known as Ms. Q to her congregation. Quincy is a vital help mate for me, she is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She leads in children’s ministry, mentoring groups and Bible studies.  We have three boys, and two of them are married. Greg and his wife Sandi have 3 beautiful children Lena, Alex, and Derek. Brian and his wife Jessica, serve on praise team and have a bouncing baby boy named Jaxton.  Our third son, Jimmy lives in Tallahassee, where he has been attending FSU and leading on praise team at FSU Wesley Campus Church. Jimmy also at age 18, led worship right here at Atwater and comes to visit from time to time, playing his acoustic guitar or bass.  My Daughter Christina, is married and living in Virginia and currently attends and serves in the Christian Church.

For me, life comes down to a very simple practice: Love God, love people and make disciples!

Hi!  I’m Pastor Quincy and it’s my pleasure to lead the Sunday morning children’s service and our Wednesday night kid’s program- CLUB TRUST.  I also lead a young women’s mentoring and Bible study group- Faithwalkers.  If you are interested, we meet every other Thursday night.  I love working with our children here at ACC!  Jesus loves children and urged us to be like them in love and faith.  Teaching them is a great joy and pleasure!  I am married to fantastic Pastor above and we have three handsome sons and four amazing grandchildren!

I am the Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader here at ACC. I assist the pastor in ministerial needs such as preaching, leading Bible studies, teaching, and other needs as they arise. I also lead the worship for our church services throughout the week. I am blessed to work with a beautiful and talented group of musicians every week who pour their time and love into preparing for our services. I love meeting new people and I hope to see you at ACC!!

  I am the Church Accountant and our Women’s Ministry leader.  As an accountant with 16 years of public and private accounting experience, I feel good about contributing to the administration of the church’s finances.  And as for the Women’s Ministry I love planning activities for our wonderful ladies to do together!  I’m quite qualified for the Women’s Ministry as I have lots and lots years put in of yapping with the girls!  I am married to a wonderful man who completes me in so many ways, and we have two sons.

  I’m in charge of the Outreach Ministry for ACC, so basically I do anything that is needed.  I’ve planned our big church events like our Fall Festivals and Kids Outreach Programs, I also coordinate food ministries in our church.  I’ve traveled to Italy, Haiti, Canada, and the Dominican Republic on different missions.  I like being able to help people and meet the needs of those in our community.  I have three kids and we love camping!

Here at ACC I lead the Jesus Freaks (grades K-6), do the scheduling for our child-care rooms, and I help with Generation Revival!! This is our young adults group.  I LOVE KIDS!  They make my life so exciting and being able to teach them is a great blessing.  I have a puppy named Maximus Optimus Prime. He is growing so guickly! I resently got a new puppy as well. Her name is Mia Maria Onamonapia. They are both amazing animals. They learn new things everyday. I enjoy taking them to the dog beach on a regular basis.  I also have a hamster named Nutterbutter . He is just so precious. When I’m not at church or playing with my fantastic animals, I may be found working at Wendy’s or doing homework for my classes at Edison State College.
