Solomon's Temple Submitted by: Joan Freidel
God doesn't live in temples made by human hands. "The heaven is my throne' says the Lord through his prophets, 'and earth is my footstool. What kind of home could you build?" ask the Lord. "Would I stay in it? Didn't I make both heaven and earth?"
Acts 7:48-49
Father how can any one of us hold you to a small home or temple. You are omnipresent (present in all places at all times). I know you cannot be bound up in one place. No one can prepare a place as your throne is in heaven. Praise you God for preparing us a home in heaven where you live.

Faith Found Submitted by: Joan Freidel
Father in your scripture Galations 4v27 it reads that we who have been baptized into union with Christ are enveloped by him. I have been christined, baptized by water twice and baptized in 2007 in the Holy Spirit at the Atwater Community Church. Through this last baptism experience my life has been turned around and truly I have been enveloped by Christ and belong to God. This Church Ministery pastored by Pastor Jim Glazier in astronomical. The path that he and Jesus are taking is reaching far beyond anything we mortals can comprehend. God\'s mighty hand is beyond our understanding. Sweet Jesus I cannot express my feelings as to the power and strength and love it took for you to die for me the most heinous death imaginable. My heart is full of love for you and what you have done for me. Thank you.

For the Lost Submitted by: Joan Freidel
This is an entry in my daily Bible/Life Journal that I want to share with those who have wandered as I have. I didn't get lost completely but my sins of omission kept me away. This is my testimony for others who have wandered away. I pray for you. My entry was Jan 15, 2009 Luke 15:7 Living Bible Version Well, in the same way heaven will be happier over one lost sinner who returns to God than over ninety-nine others who haven"t strayed away!
Observation: If a person lost something or someone valuable he would search until it/he was found. And it/he would be more valuable because it/he returned to him. Application: If at all possible go and find what you have lost. If it is a person and they return of their own then he is more precious. Prayer: Thank you Father for I have returned and have taken up my place with you. I don't expect accolades just glad that I'm back in the family again, it is your will. I pray in Jesus name. J

Wavering Faith Submitted by: Joan Freidel
To The desire of my heart. Sometimes God takes his time in giving us the answers to our cry to the heavens for help. He does answer and has the last word. He might make your feet hurt but he wont let you tumble. If you were going to tumble you would have done it before now. I\'ve been there myself many times. Praise God for giving you the strength to reach out for help. That takes courage. My prayers are with you.

A Financial Break Submitted by: The desire of my heart
The bible says we will never get more than we can handle. But does that apply to ourselves too? I feel like i dished up more than i can handle right now. The job is not turning out as good as it sounded, the money is no where to be found, and my stress level, I cant hide much more.
I pray for the wall of downward spirals to crumble before I do. I know that I"m not alone at this battle. So I lift up my hands to the havens and cry out. Because i just don't know what else to do.
It doesn't rain money I know but i can wish. Haha! It's friends and humor that gets us through these tough times.
So I challenge any one who comes along this to reach up with me and cry out to the heavens. And this will pass. Together we can get through this challenge. Because I know in my heart this will only make me stronger and wiser.
Our God is a mighty God but he is also a gentle God and doesn't like his children to suffer. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts. Thank you I give you all the Glory.

Remembering you all Submitted by: Susan Brown
Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for Atwater Community Church, Its Pastor Jim Glazier, his family its congregation. I thank you for their kindness and compassion toward me. I pray this little Church will grow and become a strong hope and help for suffering people who will learn of your comfort and will never forget your undeserved kindness and mercy toward us. I pray you encourage and uplift and abide with all those who enter the open door and who work so hard in your service. I remember them and how they each in their own way helped me and gave me encouragment and the strength not to give up on and to go on as I sought to help my friend and their neighbor suffering nearby with pulmonary fibrosis, Tom. I pray also for Tom now in Boston seeking a lung transplant that he will grow closer to Jesus. I know that you know all things and you use our weaknesses for your Glory and I pray that Tom and this Church will be a catalyst for drawing others to you....in true faith. I ask that you allow this Church to continue to shepard more and more people to you....I ask that you bless the Pastor and the congregation with the knowledge that the prophet Jeremiah told us in verse 29:11 that the Lord declared \\\"I know the plans I have for you...\\\" I pray the vision of your gifter Preacher and Shepard will be fulfilled and you will continue to grow to be a place of comfort and teaching for the little ones in the community who are starving for God\'s word and the knowledge of the love of his son Jesus. As Jesus had compassion on the crowds who had no shepard... when Jesus and his disciples needed rest and food Jesus had compassion on them and taught them and healed them....so they all may even know him....I pray that you will be a beacon for them in the darkness...and I pray that the brilliant words and sermons of the Pastor Jim will be heard by many more. We are taught that God can open any door no man can close and we pray that you, our Heavenly Father will keep this little Church\\\'s doors open wide for all to come to hear and I pray that this will be a healthy church of hope and comfort always for all who enter in. I was blessed to have found you and I thank you. In Jesus name Amen
